GAYWOOD: Raiders steal jewellery

Jewellery and cash were stolen in a break-in at a house in Gaywood on Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened at an address in Wootton Road some time between 12.40pm and 3.30pm.

Police say the raiders used a large pebble to smash a pane of glass in order to reach in and unbolt the door.

Once inside, they searched the premises, leaving drawers and wardrobes open. Jewellery, together with a small quantity of cash was stolen.

Anyone with information about the raid is asked to contact Det Con Gail Morley, of Lynn CID, on the non-emergency 101 number.
