King’s Lynn: Crash teen keeps licence

A teenager, who lives on the Queen’s estate at Wolferton, narrowly escaped losing her driving licence after admitting leaving the scene of an accident.

Hannah Taylor, 19, left her car on its side in Gayton Road, Lynn, in the early hours of November 1, West Norfolk Magistrates’ Court, was told on Wednesday.

Taylor was given five penalty points, fined £75 and ordered to pay £20 to a national victims of crime fund for failing to stop after a road accident. She also admitted driving without due care and attention. No separate penalty was issued.

As a new driver, Taylor would have lost her licence if she had been issued with six penalty points.
