Little Dunham: Police hunt for fail-to-stop driver

POLICE are searching for a car that was involved in a crash in Little Dunham, yesterday morning, after the driver failed to stop despite extensive damage to both vehicles.

A green Land Rover Defender was travelling along the Sporle Road towards Sporle when it was in collision with a light coloured, possibly white or silver, Ford Estate car travelling in the opposite direction.

The collision caused damage to both vehicles and the light coloured car failed to stop at the scene, instead driving off towards Little Dunham.

PC James Vyse, from Swaffham Road Policing, said: “I am particularly interested in hearing from any garages in the area that may have been asked to repair the damage or provide parts including a new rear windscreen, side windows, rear bumper and light clusters.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the driver of the car that failed to stop to contact us and help with our enquiries.”

Call PC Vyse at Swaffham Road Policing on 101 (calls cost 15p).
