Lynn: Crime prevention surgery for students

STUDENTS at the College of West Anglia are being given the chance to meet their local police and get crime prevention advice tailored to their needs.

Police will be offering advice covering everything from marking an iPhone with a UV pen to tackling cyberbullying. during a session at the Lynn campus next month.

PCSO Emma Seaman, said: “There aren’t any particular issues at the college, but we find that if we take the time to go and talk to the young people, then it encourages students to discuss anything they may be concerned about.”

She will also be available to give advice to any mature students and even lecturers who may want to talk with her.

Officers will be at the Lynn campus on March 1 to talk to students about any issues they may be having.

PCSO Seaman will be in the reception area of the campus between midday and 2pm.
