LYNN: Pair accused of cannabis production committed to Crown Court

Two men accused of producing cannabis at Lynn were committed to Norwich Crown Court when they appeared before West Norfolk magistrates in the town on Monday.

Thirty-eight-year-old Carlos Silva, of Tennyson Avenue, Lynn, and 28-year-old Darshan Patel, of Horseshoe Terrace, Wisbech, are alleged to have produced 5.22 kilograms of the controlled class B drug at Lynn on April 22 this year.

Mr Patel also faces a charge of possessing a quantity of cannabis at Wisbech on April 28 this year.

Both men were granted unconditional bail to appear at Norwich Crown Court on January 3 for a preliminary hearing.
