Lynn: Car targeted in arson attack

A PARKED car was targeted in an arson attack in Lynn.

The green Vauxhall Corsa was parked on Chase Avenue when it was set alight between February 12 and 13.

The arsonists tampered with the car’s ignition barrel before setting fire to a cushion on the passenger seat. The fuel filler cap was also set alight.

The car was damaged, mainly due to the smoke, but the fire did not spread to any other property.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact PC Metcalfe at King’s Lynn police station on 101 (calls cost 15p).
