SANDRINGHAM: Coroner opens inquest on PCSO in A149 death crash
PCSO Sandi Greenacre
Norfolk coroner William Armstrong has opened the inquest into the death of the Police Community Support Officer who died after a crash on the A149 at Sandringham last Monday.
The inquest, held in Norwich on Thursday, heard that 51-year-old PCSO Sandra Greenacre was driving to work at Hunstanton from her home in Gaywood when her red Peugeot 107 was in collision with a black Peugeot 206 travelling in the opposite direction.
Mrs Greenacre, a mother-of-four and stepmother to two, of Dairy Way, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Lynn side of the Dersingham roundabout.
Mr Armstrong said a post-mortem examination showed that she died from multiple injuries due to the collision.
He adjourned the inquest for more information from police officers investigating the early morning incident.
The funeral service for Mrs Greenacre will be held at St Faith’s Church in Gaywood on March 27, at 3.15pm, followed by cremation at Mintlyn. Donations will be for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
