Arrested after row with bouncers in King’s Lynn

A disabled 31-year-old man admitted being drunk and disorderly during a row with nightclub staff.

Michael Weeks, of Hillen Road, Lynn, said he became annoyed after being denied access to the disabled toilet at Kudos, Norfolk Street, Lynn.

Yvonne Neill, prosecuting, told West Norfolk Magistrates’ Court in Lynn on Wednesday that police became involved in the incident on December 28 and arrested Weeks when he looked as if he might headbutt an officer.

Weeks denied he was going to attack the officer, but apologised for his actions on the night.

He admitted being drunk and disorderly.

Weeks was fined £50 and ordered to pay £20 to a national victims of crime fund and £20 towards prosecution costs.
