A Gayton man has appeared before Lynn magistrates charged with a series of child sex abuse offences.
Paul Kelly, of Hills Crescent, faces 21 charges including engaging in sexual activity with a girl aged under 13, sexually touching a girl aged seven and making indecent images of children.
The sexual assault charges are alleged to have taken place in the Lynn and Flitcham areas between 2004 and 2012, and the child porn offences in Gayton this year.
Kelly appeared before Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning and spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
He did not enter pleas to any of the charges.
He faces two counts of sexually touching a girl, aged seven and 13, and one of engaging in sexual activity with a girl under 13.
He is also charged with causing a 13-year-old child to look at an image of sexual activity, and also engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a 13-year-old.
He also faces 16 counts of making indecent photographs of a child.
The case was adjourned until Tuesday, October 22, for a preliminary hearing at Norwich Crown Court.
Kelly was released on conditional bail until then.
