A 38-year-old woman was arrested last night after police carried out a drugs raid in Stoke Ferry following a tip-off from residents.
Officers executed a drugs warrant at an address in Buckenham Drive yesterday evening (Thursday, August 22) and found a quantity of cannabis and several cannabis plants.
The woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Lynn police station for questioning, and was later released with a police caution.
Inspector Mark Cant, the local policing commander, said: “This warrant was executed as a result of local intelligence and complaints received from residents.
“This sends a clear message that drug use of any kind will not tolerated. We continue to put pressure on those involved with drugs in and around Downham and residents can be reassured information passed to officers will be acted on.”
