Police were called to a burglary in Ingoldisthorpe that saw a barn raided and a collection of saddles and bridles stolen overnight.
A police spokesman said: “Police received a report of a burglary that took place at some point between Saturday at 10pm and Sunday at 8am. A locked barn was entered with six saddles and six bridles in dark leather stolen.
“We also received a call at about 9.30pm on Sunday to report a theft of horses in the Snettisham area. Further enquiries proved this not to be the case with no horses missing or evidence of criminal activity.”
