Threatening to police in King’s Lynn park

A recovering drug addict admitted using threatening behaviour when he was arrested in The Walks, Lynn.

Sam Sandish, 29, of Common Road, Wiggenhall St Mary, also admitted damaging a police cell on Tuesday.

Sandish had believed he had put his past behind him after being released from prison earlier in the month and was angry at being arrested for shoplifting that pre-dated the prison sentence, magistrates in Lynn heard on Wednesday.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge for theft on December 8 and fined £40 for threatening behaviour. There was no separate penalty for criminal damage.
