Police have issued a fresh appeal to trace two women who they believe broke up a fight in a Lynn park in which a girl was injured.
The incident happened in the Walks at 4.10pm on Saturday June 8, when the 13-year-old victim was walking with friends.
Contact PC Natalie Garrard on the non-emergency number 101 (calls 15p).
Following an argument with a boy and two girls of similar age, the girl was attacked and left with scratches to her face.
Officers believe the fight was broken up by two passing women, whom they have not yet been able to trace.
PC Natalie Garrard, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are very keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this assault, in particular the two ladies who helped to stop the attack.
“I am asking people to cast their minds back to June. If they were in the Walks on this Saturday afternoon and believe they have witnessed this incident then please contact the police on 101.”
