Crowds flock to North Creake fete

The sun shone and the crowds came out for North Creake’s annual church fete held in the grounds of the Old Rectory.

Rector Father Clive Wylie said: “So many people turned up. I’m delighted at the support for the church and I would like to thank all who worked so hard to make the event possible.”

There was the usual range of stalls including the less usual ferret racing. The Parochial Church Council spearheaded the event and they co-opted parishioners onto a committee headed by Kathy Chalk.

Fakenham Town band were privately sponsored and other sponsors included Creake Abbey, Fisher Bullen, Kitchens Etc and Sowerbys.
