Proud pet owners are being urged to bring along their perfect pooches to a Lynn housing estate’s first dog show.
Freebridge Community Housing will be holding its first Community Dog Show at Hillington Square on Friday, August 28.
Mill House Vets has agreed to support the dog show, which will be running from noon to 3pm and has been organised to promote responsible pet ownership.
Cutest puppy, best crossbreed, waggiest tail, best six legs (dog and handler), most appealing eyes, best child handler, best older dog (over the age of seven) and best in show are the categories.
Agility displays, dog training advice and pet products will be on display.
Director of housing, Robert Clarke, said: “We have made sure that there are categories to suit every type of dog, so come along to the heart of the community and enjoy the afternoon!”
Sam Richardson, senior nurse at Mill House Vets, said: “I am looking forward to meeting everyone on the day – as well as having fun, I will be bringing lots of useful information with me about the amazing charity PDSA and the help we can offer together to families on limited incomes. I also run puppy training classes at Mill House so will be happy to chat all things puppy!”
