Heavy rain did not stop people from Downham turning out to support St Edmund’s Church Fair.
A steady stream of people wandered into the town hall to look around the 10 stalls which were selling a variety of crafts along with a tombola and cakes. The fair has raised £600 which will go towards the upkeep of the church. One of the organisers, Nicola Knott, said: “It was lovely that everyone came out to support us despite the weather.”
