A local good cause, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), are celebrating receiving £520 from Waitrose in Swaffham.
The charity, which provides support to local children with life threatening conditions and their families, was part of the Waitrose Community Matters Scheme in February.
The branch donates £1,000 every month to local charities and causes voted for by customers as part of the green token scheme. In total the branch has donated £70,000 to good causes.
Steve Graham, branch manager said: “It’s really important to us to that we support the community in which we trade and the Community Matters scheme helps us to support causes that are at the heart of the community. I’m really pleased to have been able to support the good work of EACH. ”
In the same month, Waitrose Swaffham also supported Red Wellies and Dereham Cancer Care with support of £120 and £360 each respectively.
