Easter Saturday saw a free family fun day at Olive Branch Cafe for local children to raise money for Purfleet Trust.
Over 40 children took part in the fun at the cafe in the town’s Hillington Square, bringing their families along as well. Kept busy with arts and crafts and an Easter egg hunt, parents were free to enjoy the food and drink sales. The day was staffed by generous volunteers from the trust and further plans for the summer are underway.
Joy Wylie, Purfleet Trust’s enterprise development manager, said: “I want to say thank you to All Saints’ Church and, in particular Father Adrian, who kindly organised the hunt all around the church. It was a really special day.”
