A Knightsbridge Butler twin-motor reclining chair costing £1,116 has been donated to the Macmillan palliative day care suite of Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital by the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn. Two days of collections at Morrisions raised much of the cash, plus donations from friends on the occasion of club secretary Bob Ward’s 70th birthday. The chair was presented on Wednesday of last week.

The picture shows, from left, Sister Nicky Shore with Rotarians Janis Bell, Bob Ward, president Bob Sharp, Michael Pellizzaro, Ian Mason, Andy Holford and Mark Walker; trying out the new chair is Sister Sharon Stevens.
