King’s Lynn Academy’s £800 cheque presented to blood bikers

King’s Lynn Academy on Wednesday presented a cheque for £800 to blood bikers SERV, having raised the cash from raffles and stalls at a Christmas fair. The cheque was handed over by Mrs Bridget Defty, head of MacArthur House and Mrs Hayley Lockey, Mrs Alison Taylor, Ashley Coe Robertson (on the bike ), Sammi Kirk, Megan Barraclough and Shantell Bowman all from MacArthur House. David Parish received the cheque on behalf of SERV – Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers – which transports urgently required medical items, from blood to breast milk, to hospitals every night, weekend and bank holidays free of charge.
