Budding policemen, hairdressers and armed forces personnel got a taste of potential future careers during an annual event at Lynn’s Fairstead Community Primary School.

Around 150 Year 6 pupils from the school, and also North Wootton and Whitefriars primary schools, took part in a Careers Day. Headteacher Hazel Spinks said: “It’s an annual event the school holds to raise the children’s aspirations for the future and give them an idea of the sort of qualifications and education that they would need before moving up to High School in September.”
