METHWOLD: Open day at Iceni Academy
West Norfolk’s newest academy is hoping to raise its profile by welcoming visitors at an open day next Thursday, March 21.
The Iceni Academy, formerly Methwold High School, wants to show off its improving exam results, community atmosphere and well-behaved pupils.
Marketing officer Felicity Aldridge said: “We are trying to be seen by as large an audience as possible. We are hoping the open day will prove popular with prospective pupils and parents and give us the opportunity of promote the new academy.”
Visitors will see a normal school day and be shown round the school by Year 10 pupils, she said. New uniforms will also be on display.
The academy will be open from 9am to 3pm on the day.
