Aspiring young athletes had the chance to shine when Howard Infant and Nursery School held its annual sports morning on Monday.
More than 170 children from Reception class and Years 1 and 2 did battle in a number of events, including an obstacle race, passing the ball over and under and the normal running races.
Each child took part in a total of eight events.
The Green team were crowned overall winners, taking the title from the Yellows, and were presented with their trophy during a special assembly.
Curriculum innovation leader Gavin Raynor said: “Everyone had lots of fun and every child tried to do their best for their teams.
“There were a number of different events this year and we received some very positive feedback from parents.”
A total of £80 was raised through the selling of refreshments (ice creams and drinks) and the school thank the 16 Year 8 helpers from Lynn’s King Edward VII Academy.
