Drop in and sea

WEST Norfolk is being given the chance to have its say on the future of the sea in this area at a public drop-in event to be held in Lynn.

There will be Marine Management Organisation planners on hand to answer questions, and large scale maps of the area to show potential uses and a 3D model to demonstrate these.

The event will take place from 11-3pm today at Marriot’s Warehouse, on the Green Quay in Lynn.

The area is leading the way with the UK’s first marine plans which will help developers to decide on appropriate uses for the sea off West Norfolk.

Plans will also take into account leisure activities such as sailing and diving as well as the need to protect marine species and habitats..
