The car in front may look like the latest super car, but it is also at the cutting edge of eln technology, as visitors to the Green Britain Centre in Swaffham have been finding out this week.
American firm Tesla Motors brought their award-winning S model to the site on Monday and Tuesday, where visitors had the chance to take it for a spin.
And the environmentally friendly car, which gives off no emissions, was a big hit with visitors.
Centre manager Stuart Weaver said: “People think that electric cars are a novelty but this car in appearance and performance is top of the range and it inspires people to think electric cars could become common place.”
The car, which is powered by renewable energy, can be powered in 25 minutes and runs for 265 miles on a single charge.
