Year 3 and 4 pupils from Greyfriars Primary School got up close and personal with a number of animals from the rainforest as part of their topic launch day.

Dressed in green, youngsters got to meet a snake, millipede, kinkajou, baby tortoise and a scorpion, brought in by Jamie Mintram from Jurassic Encounters mobile petting zoo. Assistant head teacher Claire Emery said: “The children really enjoyed seeing the animals and learning about which rainforest they came from.”
