Arsenal’s former vice-chairman, David Dein, will be a guest speaker at the College of West Anglia’s sports campus at Lynnsport on Thursday, February 26.
He will be giving a talk to 130 sports students from CWA and the CWA Academy Trust schools about his career and British football.
Mr Dein is a football entrepreneur and businessman, who joined the Arsenal board in 1983 and was made vice-chairman in the same year. He was also a former vice-chairman of the Football Association, and has served on numerous UEFA and FIFA committees.
Mr Dein was president of the Arsenal Ladies team, which has consistently been the best in the land.
He was the man who had the foresight to bring Arsene Wenger to Arsenal in 1996 and during his time with the club the Gunners won a total of 18 trophies including the league five times, the UEFA Cup once and the FA Cup five times.
