Tesco supermarket has joined forces with Fakenham Academy in collecting second hand uniforms to help families in times of hardship.
The store’s community champion, Sara Sayer, said they had very good relations with the school and had been made aware that there was a need for this kind of support.
“We have set up a trolley in our foyer where people can leave good quality uniform items and we’ll probably do this two or three times a year,” she said. “To thank contributors they can leave their details on a card with the chance to win a £20 gift voucher to spend in store.”
The collection has already been well received and will end on Thursday, October 23.
