The Christmas Tree Festival being held at Hunstanton Town Hall has a record entry of 36 entries.

Clubs and societies from all over the area will be exhibiting their own original tree designs both traditional and modern alongside live music and carol singing sessions.

Tomorrow at 2pm the Community Choir will be singing a variety of Christmas songs and at 3pm.

The St Edmunds Church Choir will entertain with a selection of tradition carols.

Other groups, including local schools and The Brownies have also been invited.

John Harris will be playing the piano with a Christmas medley on Friday Night at 7 .15 pm.

The formal opening will be by Lisa Powell Town Clerk at 7pm.

Entry is free and mulled wine and mince pies will be available for a small charge.

The Festival will be open from 12 – 4 today, 7 – 8 on Friday evening, 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

So please come along and vote for your favourite tree. The winners will each win £50 in the senior and junior categories.

The free event is sponsored and organised for the town by the Hunstanton and District Festival of Arts.
