Holidays, sporting memorabilia and a company preparing your own home dinner party were among items going under the hammer at the annual Festival Too ball on Saturday night.

The event, which was held in a marquee set up in the grounds of East Winch Hall, is the main annual fundraiser for the Lynn music spectacular, which opens next weekend.

Although the final total raised is not yet known, committee chairman Bridget Nurse said: “We had a very good evening.”

Among the items offered during the live and silent auctions were a trip to Las Vegas, an African safari, the chance to have a catering company prepare a dinner party for up to 10 people and a range of Formula One memorabilia.

Other highlights included live music and the chance for guests to try their luck at casino games.
