Police have called for vigilance after thieves targeted five properties in one North Wootton street during the past fortnight.
Additional patrols are being carried out in Woodside Gardens following the spate of burglaries and bike thefts.
But residents are also being urged to be on their guard and install extra security measures, such as door chains, spy holes or multi-locking systems.
Officers also say bikes should be kept out of public view and locked to an immoveable objectfor additional security.
Det Con Gail Morley, of Lynn CID, said: “Burglaries as a whole are thankfully very rare and there is no need for residents to be concerned.
“However, uniformed officers will undertake extra high visibility patrols in the area as reassurance for the local community.”
Anyone who has seen suspicious activity in the area, or who has information about the raids, is asked to contact Det Con Morley via the non-emergency 101 number.
