Hunstanton will go to the polls to elect a new town councillor on Thursday, November 26.

The election will be held following the resignation earlier this year of Nigel King.

The four candidates in the election are Steve Ellis, Michael John Harpley, Jason Philip Law and Michael Vaughan Ruston

The polling station will be open from 7am until 10pm at Hunstanton Town Hall.

If you are unable to vote in person on that day contact Electoral Services on 01553 616773 to check eligibility for a proxy vote.

The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy is 5pm next Wednesday.

For emergency proxy vote applications (on grounds of medical emergency or occupation, service or employment only) the deadline is 5pm on Thursday 26 November, if you were unaware after 5pm on November 18 that you would need a proxy vote.

The counting of the votes will be held on Friday, November 27, at 9.30am in the Committee Suite in King’s Court, Chapel Street, Lynn .
