Fun for all the family will be on offer in Lynn’s Hillington Square over the weekend.
Freebridge Community Housing is once again holding a fete in the square from noon to 3pm on Saturday.
A range of games and fun of activities, including a bouncey castle, will be on offer during the afternoon.
Workshops ranging from growing plants to jewellery making will be held along with artist sessions and craft demonstrations.
A barbecue, tombola, hook-a-duck are also on the agenda.
Along with the entertainment from KL.FM, local ukulele group Flukes will be performing at 12.30pm.
The fete will be officially opened by the Mayor Colin Manning at noon.
Robert Clarke, Director of Housing at Freebridge, said: “The fete last year, which was organised by the Purfleet Trust was a fantastic day, and we are hoping to build on that success again this year.
“So many people and organisations have volunteered to take part. We look forward to welcoming everyone there.”
