Funds at The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, have been boosted by more than £2,000 thanks to generous donors.
Trevor Sands raised a bumper £1,800 for the hospice, in Hillington, after undergoing a sponsored head shave and holding a coffee morning in Sutton Bridge.
Mr Sands attends the Day Therapy Unit at Tapping House, where patients can benefit from a programme of support tailored to their individual needs, and can include everything from gardening to Tai Chi.
Terrington Bowls Club also raised £300 for the hospice after holding a number of fundraisers to support its work.
Members of the club enjoyed a dinner, cabaret and presentation evening at The Woolpack in Terrington St John, recently and a raffle on the evening raised £200. The winners of a bowls competition also kindly donated the price of what their presentation trophies would have cost to the fundraising pot. The club also held a friendly match against Long Sutton Indoor Bowls Club, when another £60 was raised.
