Pupils at a West Norfolk village school have impressed organisers of a top local cycling event with their jersey designs.

Organisers of the Lynn Cycling Club’s annual 50 mile race, which took place at the weekend, teamed up with the Gayton Primary School to stage a competition for pupils to create jerseys for the event.

Youngsters who created the winning designs received prizes from club officials, as the picture above shows.

But club president Monica Williamson told the children: “It was so hard to decide which one was the winner as each and everyone was lovely so we decided that you all deserve a prize.”
