Girls ‘chased’ after Downham Market exposure incident, say police

An investigation has been launched after a man reportedly chased a group of three girls after he had indecently exposed himself to them.

Police say the incident happened in Maple Road, Downham, between 6.30 and 6.45pm on Friday evening.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said three teenage girls had been walking along the road when a man approached them, exposed himself and made a lewd remark towards them.

The girls ran off down Poplar Road, with the man chasing them for a few seconds before he fled in an unknown direction.

The man is said to be white and aged between 30 and 40. He was wearing a red checked shirt and white underpants, with no trousers.
