Heacham drainage works to take four weeks

Drainage work lasting for four weeks is due to start on Monday in Station Road, Heacham.

The work from (the junction with Pound Lane to outside the Fox and Hounds pub will mean traffic will be controlled by two-way traffic lights with a 10mph speed limit on Station Road.

Pound Lane will be closed to through traffic from Monday to Wednesday to enable drainage work to be undertaken at the junction with Station Road.

Traffic will be redirected during the closure with part of the one-way system suspended temporarily.

Pedestrians will be escorted through the works.

Access to properties and businesses within the works will be maintained.

The work will cost £50,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council who apologised for any disruption.
