Shoppers in Lynn’s Vancouver Quarter were treated to a traditional Lion Dance to mark the Chinese New Year yesterday.
The Hung Kuen Lion Dance Team returned to the town to perform and welcome the Year of the Snake.
Centre manager Paul Clifford estimated around 2,000 people had seen the display, making this year’s dance the most popular event so far.
He said: “It was a fantastic turn out, far better than last year with probably double the numbers. We weren’t expecting the level of attendance we saw and some schools travelled a considerable distance to attend.”
