We’ve teamed up with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to launch the People’s Choice prize at the hospital’s second Shining Stars awards, which will be held this summer.
The awards are designed to honour staff at all levels for the work that they do to offer care and compassion to patients and their loved ones.
The People’s Choice award will recognise the team or individual who, in the eyes of patients and their families, “have provided an exceptionally high standard of care and have exemplified the culture and values of the QEH.”
The People’s Choice award is one of two categories open to the public to make nominations. The other is the Volunteer of the Year prize, in association with KL.FM.
Other awards to be presented will include the Chair’s Choice, sponsored by Medic Care, the Team Working award, jointly sponsored by Birketts and HB Retinue, and the Learning and Development award, sponsored by Unison. The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held at the Duke’s Head Hotel on June 20.
