KING’S LYNN: Support for IBD sufferers at this talk

Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital is holding an information and support day for sufferers of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

The free event will see a day of talks by representatives of Crohn’s and Colitis UK on topics including medical background, dietary management, keeping well and the role of the support group.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for sufferers to talk about any issues or concerns they may have in small groups.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided at the events which will run from 10am-3pm tomorrow in the Social Club Building.

There is no need to book, but for more information call Fran Bedin, IBD nurse, on 01553 214642.

IBD is a chronic condition that affects one in every 250 people, it should not be confused with Irritable Bowel Disease which is a separate condition with some similar symptoms.
