Hilgay’s annual Vintage and Country Show is due to get underway this weekend with old vehicles and craft stalls as just some of the two-day activities.
On Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7, from 10am till 5pm at Downhall Hilgay, you can expect family fun including face painting, a display of Leonberger dogs and traditional fairground rides.
If you have any treasures you wish to be valued, then your luck is in as local auctioneer Barry Hawkins will be there on Sunday to help.
Refreshments will be available, including Poppie’s Tearoom and a local brewery.
A replica Spitfire will flyover on Sunday as well.
Admission is £4 for adults and free for children under the age of 12. All proceeds will go to Hilgay Church and other local causes. Free parking is provided.
