Staff and youngsters dressed up during King’s Lynn Library’s latest Friday evening theme for children. The event was based on The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins.
Alison Thorne, from the library said: “It was very good fun and there was plenty of dressing-up, especially by the staff. We had one child who was on holiday in West Norfolk with her parents. Youngsters designed outfits for their characters, made bows and arrows out of lollipop sticks and talked about the book and which character they would like to be.”
The library will next host their teenage book club on Friday, September 11, which will focus on Lois Lowry’s The Giver. Pictured above are staff and youngsters at Lynn Library’s Hunger Games theme. mlnf15mf080111
