Tuesday marked the first amalgamated meeting of the Hunstanton and Heacham Day Centres.
After 34 years of operation at the Old Friends Hall in Heacham, it seemed that the club would have to close, so members have joined up with the Hunstanton Day Centre to make one larger club.
Welcoming the members from Heacham, Hunstanton president Brian Devlin said: “The combined club is now just over 60 strong and we still have space for a few new members. We are supported by Hunstanton and District Rotary Club and with our increased membership and economies of scale we are looking to do more in the coming years.”
