The church of St Edmund’s Hunstanton was filled to capacity last Saturday to hear a challenging and varied mix of favourites old and new culminating in a really moving rendition of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from Les Miserables from the Hunstanton Community Choir.
Interval refreshments were provided by the choir members and the ticket price and retiring collection was in aid of The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.
Musical director Simon Bower said: “This was a fabulous evening for the choir. All the members have worked so hard and I’m really pleased that the audience enjoyed our performance.”
“We are still recruiting for singers to come and join us – especially men – so if there are any males out there who would like to sing in the choir please come along any Tuesday evening to the town hall in Hunstanton at 7pm.”
