Hunstanton lifeboat rescues woman with broken ankle after fall

Hunstanton lifeboat crews were called out this afternoon after a woman suffered a suspected broken ankle while walking her dog.

The crew was called shortly after 1pm today to assist paramedics in treating the woman, who was hurt on the flats around half a mile west of the town’s boathouse.

The woman, who is from the Chelmsford area, is understood to have been pulled over while walking her dog.

After being brought back to shore, she was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
