Work will begin on Monday, March 9, to carry out major carriageway resurfacing works on Cromer Road in Old Hunstanton.

The site will extend from the junction with Clarence Road through to Church Road.

The work will take three weeks to complete.

During the resurfacing works it will be necessary to close the road to all through traffic.

A fully signed diversion will be in place via A149 Brancaster, B1153 Docking, B1454 Heacham and A149 Hunstanton

In order to provide access to properties and businesses it will be necessary for the works to be carried out in four phases.

The work, which will cost £280,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s community and environmental services department.
