IN THE NEWS: Both sides blast ballot paper

BOTH sides in the incinerator debate have this week blasted the ballot paper which is set to decide the issue.

On Friday, the Lynn News reported how ballot papers were to start going out for a borough-wide poll which will enable people to say whether they are for or against the proposed waste incinerator on Lynn’s outskirts.

West Norfolk Council decided to hold the referendum, expected to cost almost £50,000, so that it could get an accurate reflection of residents’ views.

More in tomorrow’s paper.
