KING’S LYNN CYCLING CLUB: WISBECH
WHEELERS OPEN 25 TT
KLCC rider Steve Bristow finished in a time of 1.06.26 in a field of 50 riders.
There was no club 10-mile TT last week which had to be cancelled due to adverse weather.
A new form of specific training for KLCC members organised by Gary Smith, an ABCC coach, started during the winter and is still carrying on due to popularity and success at Sports Direct Fitness at Hamburg Way, North Lynn Industrial Estate.
Instructors Gavin Buffham and Nick Franklin have been taking members through their paces by providing specific tailored exercises.
Gary said: “Gavin and Nick have been working very hard to deliver indoor cycling and body conditioning workouts. These are created with the club cyclist in mind.”
“Winter months of training has made a difference to us,” said members Wanda and Trevor Simper.
