An inquest has been opened into the death of a van driver following a crash in Feltwell last week.

Dean Edward Humberstone, who was 43 and from Lakenheath, Suffolk, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened on Southery Road, at around 6.40am last Wednesday, January 29.

An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned in Norwich yesterday.

A 55-year-old man from the Thetford area, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving in connection with the crash, is expected to answer his bail later this month.

A police investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing and witnesses are urged to come forward if they have not already done so.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling along Southery Road at the time of the incident, or who may have seen any debris in the road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Norfolk Police serious collision investigation team via the non-emergency 101 number.
