Britain in Bloom judges visited Hunstanton on Monday to assess the resort’s credentials for the awards.
The town is one of six shortlisted for the coastal prize after winning the same section of Anglia In Bloom in 2013.
New projects have included additional planting on High Street, plus the planting of poppies to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
And the judges even enjoyed a performance by folk group Rig-a-Jig-Jig on the refurbished Spinney.
Hunstanton in Bloom committee chairman Elizabeth Watson, pictured above, front left, said: “The town is looking fantastic and I’d encourage people to look for themselves.”
